How to build an everyday makeup routine
Save the face products you already reach for in Beauty Board, then put them on a short routine in the order you actually apply them.

An everyday makeup routine is the short sequence you can do on a workday without thinking. It is not a new shopping list, and it is not someone else's "five-minute face." It is the products you already reach for, saved in Beauty Board, then placed on a routine in the order you actually put them on.
Start from the products with fingerprints on them
Do not start from a tutorial. Open the drawer and notice what you used more than twice this week. That is the routine, already. The primer you bought and ignored is not in it. The tinted moisturiser you reach for half-asleep is.
Save those products first: paste each shop link, or add the bottle by hand. Mark them Using. If the catalogue is still empty, keep every beauty product you own in one place is the twenty-minute starting method. A routine built on products you have not saved is just another list you will lose.
A workday face is five steps, not twelve
Most everyday routines collapse under extra steps that never earned their place. Five is enough for a face you will actually repeat.
- Skin, briefly. Whatever you already use in the morning. The order for that half lives in what order to apply skincare, morning and night. Do not invent a second skincare routine to justify more makeup.
- Base. Tint, skin tint, or foundation: one, in the shade you already wear. If you cannot name that shade, how to remember your foundation shade is the record to make first.
- Spot conceal, if you need it. Not a full extra layer. The places the base did not cover.
- Colour. Blush, bronzer, or both, from what you already own. One product that does a visible job beats three that you blend into nothing.
- Define, then stop. Brows or mascara or a lip. Pick the one or two that make the face look finished to you. Leave the rest for evenings.
That sequence covers a normal day. A liner, a palette, or a setting spray can join later if you can name the job they do that nothing else covers. Most days they cannot.

Put the sequence on a routine you can see
A routine you keep in your head will drift. One morning the blush comes before base because you were rushing. Another morning you skip the step you actually like and wonder why the face looks unfinished.
In Beauty Board a routine is a list with the same products that sit in your catalogue. Create one called Everyday, or Morning face, and place those five products in order. Nothing is copied. The blush in the catalogue is the blush in the routine. When a product runs out, you replace it once and the sequence stays correct.
If you want a slightly fuller version for evenings, make a second routine rather than stuffing the weekday one. Same catalogue, different order, one or two extra products. The weekday list stays short, which is why you will still use it.
One good version of each step
Everyday makeup fails in the same way collections fail: three products trying to do one job. Two bases, three blushes, a lip for every mood. The routine cannot choose, so you choose nothing and the face takes twenty minutes.
Put each step's options on a board and keep the one you actually reach for. Mark it Using. The rest can live on a weekend list, a capsule, or a use-up pile. How to organise a makeup collection without buying more storage is the longer method if the drawer is still the problem.
Keep it where you get ready
The list only works if you can see it while your hands are busy. Open the Everyday routine on your phone and leave it on the counter. Follow it twice, then stop looking. After a week the order is yours again, and the list is there for the mornings it is not.
Do not shop for a routine. Build it from the products that already have fingerprints on them, save those, and put them in order. That is an everyday face you will still be doing in a month.
