01 About these terms

Beauty Board is operated by Jack howitt pty ltd (ABN 00 000 000 000). By using the service you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use Beauty Board.

Our Privacy policy forms part of these terms.

02 What Beauty Board does

Beauty Board lets you collect beauty products on a visual board. You can paste a link from a retailer and we will try to pull out the product details and image, upload your own photos, arrange everything on a canvas, organise items into groups, label them, and share a board with a view-only link.

The service is offered as it is today. Features may change, and we may add or remove them.

03 Accounts

You need an account to build spaces. You must be at least 16 years old, give accurate details, and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

04 What it costs

Beauty Board has a Free plan and a Pro plan. Free needs no card. Pro is a paid subscription. You will never be charged unless you choose Pro or an extra shop-save pack and complete checkout.

You can cancel Pro any time. Access stays until the end of the period you already paid for. Extra shop-save packs are a one-time purchase for Pro. We do not offer extra cash refunds beyond your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Prices are set for each currency we support, and you are charged exactly the amount shown. Your plan keeps the currency you signed up in. Anywhere else, prices are in US dollars and your bank may convert them.

05 Your content

Your boards, your photos, and your notes remain yours. We do not claim ownership of them.

You give us permission to store, copy, resize, and display that content only so far as we need to run the service for you, including showing a board to anyone you give a share link to. That permission ends when you delete the content or close your account.

You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload, and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights.

06 Importing products from retailer links

When you paste a link, we fetch that public page and use an AI model to pick out the product details. Two things follow from that.

• The details can be wrong or out of date. Prices in particular change constantly. Always check the retailer before you buy. We do not sell products and are not a party to any purchase you make.
• Product names, brands, images, and trade marks belong to the retailer or brand. They are shown so you can recognise your own products, and we claim no rights in them.

Some retailers block automated access. When an import fails or comes back incomplete, you can add or fix the details yourself.

07 Sharing spaces

Turning on sharing creates a link that lets anyone holding it view that board without signing in. You decide whether to create a link and who to send it to, and you can switch it off at any time. Please do not share boards containing anything you would not want seen by others.

08 Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Break the law, or infringe anyone's privacy or intellectual property.
• Upload anything unlawful, abusive, hateful, or sexually explicit.
• Upload images of other people without their permission.
• Try to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the service.
• Scrape the service, or resell it, without our written permission.
• Use automated tools to create accounts or flood the import system.

09 Our intellectual property

The Beauty Board name, design, software, and everything else we have made stay ours. These terms do not give you any rights in them beyond using the service as intended.

10 Changes, suspension, and closure

We may change, pause, or discontinue the service. If we plan to shut it down we will give reasonable notice and a way to export your boards.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or that puts the service or other people at risk. You can close your account at any time.

11 Consumer rights and disclaimers

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Those rights sit alongside everything below, and where our liability can be limited rather than excluded, it is limited to resupplying the service.

Beyond those rights, Beauty Board is provided as is and as available. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free, that imported product details will be accurate, or that it will suit any particular purpose.

12 Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data. Our total liability for any claim connected with the service is limited to one hundred Australian dollars, or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, whichever is greater.

13 Indemnity

You agree to cover us for claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from content you upload or share, or from your breach of these terms or of the law.

14 Disputes and governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New south wales, Australia, and the courts of that state have jurisdiction. If something goes wrong, please email support@beautyboard.co first. Most problems are quicker to sort out that way.

15 General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term straight away does not waive it. You may not transfer your account to someone else without our permission. These terms are the whole agreement between us about the service.

16 Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. The date at the top shows the current version, and we will give notice in the app before any change that materially affects you. Continuing to use Beauty Board after a change means you accept the updated terms.
