Shelf

A current beauty shelf, eight products worth a proper save

Packshots, shades and shop names for eight products we already know how to read from a shop page. Save the record, not another screenshot.

A beauty product is not a mood board tile. It is a brand, a name, a shade, a shop, and a photo you can recognise in a list. Beauty Board already pulls those fields off a shop link and cuts the photo out. This shelf is that record, shown the way it should look: one product at a time, with space around the bottle.

These are not ranked, and they are not a paid roundup. They are eight products we keep using as examples because the pages are the kind of pages people actually paste.

  1. 01

    Rare Beauty

    Soft Pinch Liquid Blush

    Hope

The shade name is the whole product. A screenshot of the bottle will not tell you Hope from Joy six months later. Save the record, not the pin.

  2. 02

    Tatcha

    The Dewy Skin Cream

    Full size

A jar that looks like every other jar on the shelf. The packshot and the shop you bought it from are what stop you buying a second one.

    MECCA

  3. 03

    Summer Fridays

    Blush Butter Balm

    Soft Strawberry

Balm blushes photograph as a smear. A clean packshot plus the shade name is what you actually search for later.

    Sephora

  4. 04

    Haus Labs

    Triclone Skin Tech Foundation

    230 Light Medium Cool

Foundation is the product people repurchase wrong. Keep the number and the undertone next to the photo, in one place.

    Sephora

  5. 05

    Charlotte Tilbury

    Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray

    100 ml

Size is the variant that matters here. The 100 ml bottle and the travel size are easy to mix up in a camera roll.

    MECCA

  6. 06

    CeraVe

    Hydrating Facial Cleanser

    Normal to dry

The everyday bottle you always think you still have. Own versus finished is the field that earns its keep.

    Ulta Beauty

  7. 07

    Aesop

    Lucent Facial Refiner

    60 ml

Brown bottles look identical until you need the one you actually use. Brand, name, and a cutout beat another brown rectangle in Recents.

    Aesop

  8. 08

    Dior

    Rouge Dior On Stage

    425 Wild Rosewood

Lip colour is a number and a name. File both, with the packshot of that bullet, not a campaign still of someone else's mouth.

    Dior

Save the next one from the shop page

When you find the ninth, do not screenshot it. Paste the shop link. Beauty Board reads what the page makes public, processes the packshot, and puts the product in your catalogue next to everything else you already own or want. Free to start, no card.
